We welcomed consultants, specifiers and contractors to our commercial heating and hot water Sustainability Roadshow held at Land Rover Experience North Yorkshire on 8 October 2026 for a day combining educational CPDs, product discussions and exciting outdoor activities.
Held in Coniston Cold, near Skipton, our customer event brought together our very own Ideal Commercial Heating specialists with fellow Groupe Atlantic brands Hamworthy, ACV and Clade. Together, we explored approaches to commercial heating and domestic hot water, with a focus on sustainability and the practical challenges facing the industry.
100+ hours of CPDs in one day!
Across the day, we delivered over 100 hours of CIBSE-approved continuing professional development (CPD), helping attendees build their knowledge of heating and hot water system options.
The programme covered low carbon hybrid heating system considerations, commercial domestic hot water systems now and for the future, and the use of natural refrigerants in heating and hot water applications.
These sessions provided an opportunity to consider how different technologies can support the transition towards lower carbon buildings, and the factors consultants, specifiers and contractors need to weigh up when planning projects.
Bringing technical discussions to life
Customers had the opportunity to get hands-on with our commercial products which were displayed in the product barn, along with discussing their project requirements with our product and specification managers. Displays included our EQMAX domestic hot water heaters for commercial sites, alongside market-leading commercial boilers, heat pumps and equipment from across the Groupe Atlantic portfolio.
The setting gave attendees time to ask questions and connect the CPD topics with products and applications, while speaking directly with the people behind the technology.
It’s not all work…
Away from the technical sessions, customers enjoyed an off-road Land Rover driving experience and clay pigeon shooting. Branded flat caps and jackets helped everyone get into the spirit of the day, while clear skies made the outdoor activities even more enjoyable!
Committed to learning
Following our Sustainability Expo at Mercedes-Benz World held earlier this year, the Skipton event continues our commitment to bringing customers together for technical learning and conversation.
Commenting on the day, Chris Caton, Product Director – Commercial, Groupe Atlantic, who opened the event with a welcome address, said:
“We have already received excellent feedback from attendees. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success.”
