For the seventh year in a row, we are delighted to be once again sponsoring the much respected Engineer of the Year Award category at the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Building Performance Awards.
The Building Performance Awards acknowledges and celebrates engineering excellence in the built environment, with those lucky enough to achieve the status of winner rightly recognised as leaders in their field.
This year’s awards are being held on Thursday 27 February at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London. Our esteemed colleague Richard Brown, Head of Specification Sales, will be in attendance and will present the Engineer of the Year Award on stage.
The shortlist for Engineer of the Year Award 2025 is:
• Harry Sharples, Principal Building Performance Engineer - AECOM
• Nabil Cook, Technical Director - OMEGA Solutions
• Netza Jack, Head of Building Performance & Environment - Man Group
• Steve Hilton, Regional Engineering Manager - Savills
• Volkan Doda, Head of Design Technologies - Atelier Ten
“As the CIBSE Building Performance Awards require actual, measured performance outcomes, all candidates to have made it on to the shortlist - yet alone achieve winning position - are truly remarkable and I have nothing but admiration for their knowledge and skillset” states Richard. “These are the people that are helping to make our built environments better places in which to live and work, and that are firmly focussed on net zero. Every one is a deserving winner, and we wish them all the very best on awards night.”
