For the second year in a row, we are delighted to be the recipient of a BSS award: Sustainability Partner of the Year 2022. This follows on from last year’s Business Initiative of the Year award.
With several national distribution centres and over 50 branch locations, BSS is the UK’s largest, leading distributor of pipeline and heating solutions, with a history to match our own long pedigree, dating over 110 years. We have worked with BSS for many years and have been an active partner in supporting their business and staff, most recently sponsoring the BSS conference in January in Wembley Stadium, where we also benefitted from a stand at their marketplace exhibition.
The Sustainability Partner of the Year award was presented by Chris Herber-Goldie to Darren Finley, to acknowledge Ideal Heating’s low carbon commercial product range, including our new ECOMOD monobloc air source heat pumps. Our heating solutions are designed to have as little impact on the environment as possible which demonstrates our ongoing commitment to sustainability. Our approach to manufacturing is also influenced by our environmental commitments, with minimal waste and a focus on recycling or reuse; we are committed to zero landfill. In addition, we are proud to be certified for the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard, which we have held since 2004.
