Ideal Commercial Heating supports Pendleside Hospice with boiler donation

We are pleased to have donated a new commercial boiler to Pendleside Hospice in Burnley, Lancashire, helping to support the charity’s essential work in providing specialist palliative care to people with life-limiting illnesses.

What is Pendleside Hospice?

Established in 1988, Pendleside Hospice has been delivering compassionate, holistic care for more than 35 years, supporting patients, their families and carers across the local community. As a registered charity, its services are provided free of charge, making ongoing support from businesses and partners vital to maintaining the high standards of care it offers.

Why is reliable heating so important?

The donation from Ideal Commercial Heating will help ensure a reliable and efficient heating system within the hospice, supporting a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. In facilities such as Pendleside, where care is delivered around the clock, dependable heating is not just a matter of efficiency, but a crucial component in maintaining dignity, wellbeing and comfort.

Darren Finley, Managing Director, Commercial Products at Groupe Atlantic UK & ROI, said: “We are incredibly proud to support Pendleside Hospice through this donation. The work they do for individuals and families facing some of life’s most difficult moments is truly inspiring, and we are pleased to play a small part in helping them continue to deliver that care.

Why is collaboration important for a successful outcome?

“At Ideal Commercial Heating, we understand how important a safe, warm and comfortable environment is in healthcare settings” continues Darren. “We hope this contribution helps support both patients and staff, we would also like to thank James Hargreaves the supplying merchant, and SBS Electrical for their role in ensuring the installation was carried out to such a high standard.”
